Research interests in Biomechanics of Soft Tissues:
- Models of mechanical impedance of
layered tissues.
- Models of shear waves excitation
in layered tissues by a surface source.
- In situ studies of muscle
elasticity and viscosity as in a steady state so
in a transient situation, both by mechanical
impedance method and by sonoelastography
method.
Research interests in Biomedical Engineering:
Computer-based devices design for
evaluation of the condition of neuromuscular complexes
during their treatment, rehabilitation, training etc. Operation principle of the
devices is based on measurements of mechanical impedance
(frequency dependencies or temporal dynamics) of surface
soft tissues of human body.
