PHYSICAL MODELS Development of
mathematical models of impedance characteristics of biological soft tissues,
having, obviously, an independent scientific interest, is the most important
stage of development of the method to reconstruct mechanical parameters of
multi-layered tissues and the method of continuous monitoring of tissues
viscoelastic parameters with high time resolving power. A base of the
acoustic theory of tissues mechanical impedance, explaining its relationship,
both with parameters of indentor, and with parameters of tissues, was laid in
1951 by Oestreicher. More strict acoustic models of impedance characteristics
of biological tissues were offered relatively recently. In particular,
so-called "models with the pressure source of vibrations", based on
the approach, taken when solving the Lamb's problem, were offered in IAP RAS. |
