SPECTRAL MEASUREMENTS In the course of
classical experimental studies, performed in connection with the problem of
different contact sensors matching with the human body surface, the frequency
dependencies of impedance characteristics were studied and their changes when
changing an indentor diameter and indentor pressure on the tissue. Probably,
on tradition to study a tissue condition the measurements of impedance
characteristics were also performed, and are performing, mainly by such
"spectral measurements". Such a method was realized as well in IAP
RAS in 1986 on the basis of the equipment of the Bruel & Kjer firm. A series
of experimental and theoretical works was performed on its basis studying a
process of interaction of vibrating indentor with biological tissues.
Besides, the studies of impedance characteristics (and rheological parameters
determined from them) of human body surface soft tissues in different
conditions (relaxation, stress, edema) were performed, as well of rabbit
tissues samples. Not so long ago the hardware-software complex was created on
the basis of this experimental tool allowing to obtain the impedance
characteristics spectra in electronic form. That opens new opportunities of
experimental studies and provides the data obtaining for reconstruction of
the mechano-acoustical model of tissue, taking its layered construction into
account. |
